Join Sarah Smitha of Little Magic Music for an interactive story time inspired by The Very Sleepy Seed by Harry H. Through music, movement, and simple instrument exploration, children and families will learn how sunlight, water, and soil help a seed grow into a flower. Following the story, participants will decorate paper-mâché pots and plant wheatgrass seeds to take home. As the grass grows, children can observe and measure its progress and even trim it like “hair,” creating a simple and engaging way to continue exploring plant growth and basic science at home.
Best suited for children ages 0–8 and their caregivers, all sessions take place near the First Impressions sculpture.
